They have a square-shaped self-supporting structure in a tubular form with four sides. The unidirectional flow in the tubes eliminates any possibilities of mixing currents. The square shape section and assembly have been proven to be the most effective configurations in settling systems.
Square tube type media come as pre-assembled or as fabricated blocks. There is no site assembly required & each individual block can be removed for maintenance work.
They are primarily used in applications like solid-liquid water separation in clarifiers in primary & secondary sedimentation and oil-water separators.
